President and shareholder Doug Manson is responsible for the direction of the firm’s offices in Tampa, Tallahassee, West Palm Beach, and Orlando. He has more than 30 years of experience representing both private sector and government clients in water, environmental, administrative, and governmental law. Doug has represented a myriad of public supply, industry, business and agricultural clients seeking regulatory authorization for their operations. Laura Jacobs Donaldson, a shareholder at MBDV, has been practicing law for nearly 21 years. She has represented clients before legislative and executive branches of government and agencies on growth management, environment, and local government issues. Laura also serves as general and special counsel for many local governments, including having served as General Counsel for the Southwest Florida Water Management District. In addition, she assists public and private interests with water and environmental permitting issues as well as drafting complex and technical interlocal agreements, contracts and other transaction documents. Brian J. Accardo recently joined MBDV after serving as General Counsel and Chief of Staff at the South Florida Water Management District for the past three years. He brings 11 years of legal experience and nearly 20 years of total experience in legal and consulting services to his position as a shareholder. Brian focuses on environmental and energy matters, including air, water, administrative, and governmental law at the new West Palm Beach office.
